Description
Blue Skull started with a single dark circle that became an eye, and everything else grew around it. This large abstract piece is built on heavyweight paper with acrylic paint layered thick in some areas, thin in others. You’ll notice the green leaf-like forms wrapping around the central shape, contrasted against red marks at the top and bottom. The blue-grey background has been worked and reworked, leaving visible texture throughout. At 50 × 37.5 inches, it commands attention without overwhelming a room.
